A familiar skyline, a fresh perspective
This walk is designed for Indian travellers who want to enjoy Paris at their own pace. It combines the city’s iconic scenery with stories about the people, ideas and exchanges connecting India and France. You can pause for photographs, take a break or spend longer wherever something catches your attention.
The route runs from the Chaillot area towards the Louvre. Allow around three hours for the 5.2 km walk; your actual time will depend on breaks and how much audio you choose to hear.
How to explore
Open the route
Use the app to view the detailed walking map and check access to the stories. The walk’s availability is shown there.
Choose your story length
Listen to a quick introduction or select a longer story when you want more context. English is the default. Select हिन्दी for Hindi narration and story text; French place names stay in French.
Prepare before going offline
Open the walk while connected and wait for the app’s “Ready offline” confirmation. English stories are prepared automatically for the opened walk. Hindi streams only when selected; use “Save this walk in Hindi” if you also want it offline.
Before you set off
Wear comfortable shoes and allow time for pauses. This is a self-guided city walk, not an organised tour with a guide accompanying you. Opening the route does not include admission tickets to monuments or museums.
You can explore the stories before travelling to Paris. Live location guidance is useful once you are there, and you choose when to enable it.
Make it your Paris walk.
