TIME FOR TWO

Paris for Indian couples

A little romance, a little exploring and no obligation to turn your holiday into a 47-stop photo shoot.

A relaxed day for two

Our suggested plan: start around Palais-Royal, take a café break, then explore the Seine near the Île de la Cité. Choose lunch around your food preferences rather than spending the afternoon hunting for a suitable menu.

Keep the evening for an Eiffel Tower view or a booked river cruise. Pick one, especially on arrival day. Allow time to get there without racing through metro connections in your best shoes. These are editorial suggestions, not a timed or accessibility-certified route.

Romance on your terms

An Indian restaurant, a vegetarian dinner, a halal meal or a French tasting menu can all be a good date. Ask about ingredients and alcohol-free options when booking. Mention a honeymoon or anniversary, but confirm any paid extras before accepting them.

Discuss the things that actually matter: walking pace, budget, food, photographs and whether you enjoy crowds. Paris does not require identical tastes. A quiet hour in a garden can beat a much-advertised dinner with a view.

Spend on the moment

For a modest day, choose a self-guided walk and one sit-down treat. For a bigger occasion, book a cruise, performance or restaurant directly and check inclusions, seat or table arrangements and cancellation rules.

If you want a photographer, agree duration, location, image delivery and price in writing. Keep passports and bags secure while posing; a romantic picture should not become a police-report illustration.

When the weather refuses to cooperate

Choose a short museum visit, covered passages or an unhurried café stop. Reserve popular attractions ahead through their official sites and check the day’s opening hours.

Finish near your hotel or somewhere with a straightforward return journey. Carry a layer for the riverside and keep an alternative dinner plan. A change of plan is allowed; this is a holiday, not a production schedule.
